Details

Sow: February-March in a heated room (around 20°C). Once the first leaf appears, prick out (into individual pots). Plant out in May in open ground in a sunny spot. Spacing: 80x40 cm. Support and tie up plants. When 3-4 flower clusters appear, pinch out the growing tip. Remove side shoots when young ("pruning"). Water regularly. Harvest: mid-August to September.
